Medai and Documentary

In documentary and Media, I picked from scratch to professional skills. As one of my responsibilities in CEFoRD, I develop educational videos depending on target audiences and the intended format for passing the message. These includes Documentary films, vox pop films, statement, testimonials (narrative of an even, history or incident) visual and voice over and many other formats. I also have experience and good skills in creating Audio messages using Audacity program, adobe audition and wavePad Sound editor.

Technology or website development.

I have increasingly good experience on information technology despite the fact that I don’t have a recognized certificate not even a single but I do produce sensational results in regards to technology. I have experience in maintenance and repair both hardware and software. In CEFoRD I do installation, troubleshooting and fixes of both new and older computers when required. I also do have good skills in graphic and design.

In website development, I have some experience though with limited success. I have experience in using non-html website development program such as webpage maker, Voda host web page maker ABCwebsite builder and many others. I also have some experience in creating DNS and DNS management such as domain based mail addresses, file transfer from the program to the server, updating website

Report writing.

Report writing in brief, is the compilation of data after a task is been completed. Report writing becomes one of my outstanding skills. Over the past 4 years of working experience I developed good report writing skills (Qualitative and quantitative). These includes Monthly reports, Annual reports quarterly reports, assessment based reports and many others. Additionally, in report writing I mostly look at achievements, progress against intended indicators/results and overall objectives pre and post analysis of activities (for trainings, dialogue etc.) Major challenges, Major success and lesion learned. I also take recommendations seriously.

Capacity Building

Capacity building is any support or empowerment given to individual or a group of persons to be able to make an informed decision on issues that matters. In my experience, I empower Children and young people groups to build communication skills and confidence in them and to be able to present or voice out issues affecting them as young people in non-confrontational way. This involves coaching children to come with a personal goal. For example improving relation between the father and the child. In conclusion, it’s a long way that involves series of sessions with young helping them develop certain skills like drama skills and many others.
